DISAM EVALS HAVE BEEN REFRESHED

Refreshed January 28th, 2015.

Please Note:
If you have special requirements please don’t hesitate to contact eval @ bytedesigns.com (without the spaces around the @).

Same goes if you need a platform not listed. Just because we don’t have an evaluation for your platform does not means DISAM is not suitable for your environment.
DISAM will work in most environments that can handle a standard C library.

    Hi,

    I have a few questions:

    1. In your documentation you refer to the following utilities – dreport and dschema, which I cannot find in my downloaded files (I have downloaded the disam72 for Windows).

    2. I am probably not looking hard enough, but is there a api reference somewhere I can use?

    Thanks

the dreport and dschema utilities unfortunately have not yet been fully ported to 64 bits and the microsoft compiler, and are currently discontinued in the evaluations, owing partly to what we assumed to be a lack of interest, and also because we are expecting shortly to release a different approach to “mapped” data structures.

if dreport and dschema are of particular interest to you, please let us know.

the standard (or “CISAM”) interface is documented under the main DISAM menu on this site, and the internal base (or core) API is documented in the file read/base.ref
